The issue is that the latest release of the Chrome and Edge browsers (which have the same code-base) no longer support the Secure Lockdown > System Lockdown > "No Desktop" option. If this option is disable, it will behave as expected. We are trying to determine a work-around to this, but there is no guarantee one will be found. If we find one, a new release of Secure Lockdown will be posted. We do not have a time-table for this, currently.

Im still having some issues even after disabling no desktop option. After awhile chrome will get stuck relaunching over and over again. Seems to happen on windows 10 machines. Latest version and everything

I have a report from one of employees that’s going to email support that he has three freshly formatted windows 11 machines that are getting stuck. They are at another building driving over there next to put some eyes on it. I just spent 6 hours at one building getting all the kiosk there fixed this is a mess.

I think i found the errors on the three new machines one of our employees setup on a rush to fix the windows 10 issue. Screen was set to turn ofter 15 minutes and touch was not waking them for some odd reason. Just changed it to never like our usual setup and will verify they are working tomorrow.

There is defiantly weirdness and issues with windows 10 though. The update does not work remotely. It shows the upgrade on the screen instead of automatically proceeding. Also the chrome starts closing and opening repeatedly after hitting the idle timer. On some it happens right away with chrome and win10. Only way to fix it is switch to edge

windows 10 pcs are a huge problem. I have been traveling to all my sites all week just fixing them by updating inteset browser and switching to edge. Chrome will not work. It might the first time but only until it resets once then never again. It will get stuck in a open close loop until it runs out of ram then inteset will crash.

remote managment will not update them automatically it just stays on the screen looking for user interation to finishing the install. Fixing this would be a great help because atleast i could change them to edge remotely.

Other memeber of my team are trying to pump out new windows 11 units we already purchased because of the win 10 eol but were never expecting to have to do them all in a week to get production back up and running.
